Reed HR have partnered with a company in Kent who are seeking a dedicated HR and Administrative Officer to provide comprehensive human resource support and administrative services within the organisation. This role is pivotal in supporting the management team, coordinating office operations, and ensuring organisational effectiveness and efficiency. The successful candidate will be the main contact with the external HR Consultant Partner and will handle all employment issues and administrative tasks for staff, residents, and visitors.
Day-to-day of the role:- Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all departments, providing administrative support as needed.
- Participate in the maintenance and implementation of company management information systems and administrative policies.
- Manage digital filing systems, prepare meeting minutes, and handle correspondence.
- Oversee the management of reception areas and provide cover as needed, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Coordinate Board requirements, manage schedules for the Senior Management Team (SMT), and distribute Board Reports.
- Maintain up-to-date email groups for staff and residents' relatives, ensuring effective communication.
- Handle all aspects of HR including recruitment, maintaining personnel files, managing staff induction and training, preparing staff contracts, and monitoring staff uniforms.
- Act as the lead liaison with the external HR Consultant Partner on all employment matters.
- Undertake additional tasks as required by the management team, promoting a positive image of the organisation and supporting the implementation of company policies.
- Proven experience in HR and administrative roles, preferably within a similar setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using HR and office management software, such as Coolcare.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or Business Administration are preferred.
