- Shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm (occasional weekends at overtime rates)
- Perform scheduled, proactive, and responsive maintenance duties
- Assist with engineering tasks, including setting up new machinery
- Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Promote safe work practices and uphold compliance with legal standards
- Collaborate with production staff and other departments to foster continuous improvement
- Ideally, a 60/40 split with a focus on electrical skills
- Recognised engineering certification (such as HNC, ONC, or completed apprenticeship)
- Proven background in hands-on maintenance within a manufacturing setting
- Strong troubleshooting abilities in both electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with pumps, motors, steam processes, pneumatics, etc. (advantageous)
- Understanding of health and safety guidelines (e.g. IOSH, Permit to Work schemes)
- Confident using standard computer software (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word)
