Location: Tonbridge TN9Salary: £30'000 to £35'000Full-Time | Permanent | Day Shift (Starting at 7am)

About the Role:

Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence? We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our day shift team, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, supporting staff development, and stepping in for the Depot Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including goods-in, stock putaway, and vehicle loading/unloading
  • Conduct daily shift briefings and assign tasks to team members
  • Maintain accurate stock levels through regular bay counts and stock rotation
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain H&S documentation
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and manage shortage/negative stock reports
  • Oversee forklift maintenance and ensure equipment is safe and operational
  • Support team development through regular 1:1s, training, and performance reviews
  • Ensure site security and complete end-of-shift checks
  • Act as point of contact for team queries and escalate issues to the Depot Manager
  • Cover Depot Manager duties during absence
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • FLT license (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
