About the Role:Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a passion for leadership and operational excellence? We’re looking for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our day shift team, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, supporting staff development, and stepping in for the Depot Manager when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily warehouse operations including goods-in, stock putaway, and vehicle loading/unloading
- Conduct daily shift briefings and assign tasks to team members
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular bay counts and stock rotation
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and maintain H&S documentation
- Investigate stock discrepancies and manage shortage/negative stock reports
- Oversee forklift maintenance and ensure equipment is safe and operational
- Support team development through regular 1:1s, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure site security and complete end-of-shift checks
- Act as point of contact for team queries and escalate issues to the Depot Manager
- Cover Depot Manager duties during absence
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- FLT license (desirable)
