Our client, a leading and international business is seeking an Assembly Fitter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking to add an Assembly Fitter with a minimum of 1 years’ experience to join their team, where you will be working with the team to build and produce quality products for clients and dealers, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is maintained at all times.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ industry experience in a similar Assembly Fitter role and would have ideally completed a technical apprenticeship or have similar relevant training.

Key Responsibilities:

- To fit and assemble fabricated parts or subassemblies

- Be able to set up hydraulic and electrical systems including pressure testing

- Install valves, pumps and motors

- Ensure cable tying of hoses is completed neatly and correctly

- Be able to replace and repair faulty parts, rebuilding together correctly

Key Experience:

- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar Assembly role

- Completed a technical apprenticeship or relevant training

- Good technical knowledge with the willingness to build product knowledge over time

- Excellent communicator with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients of all levels

- Good time management

- Accuracy and attention to detail at all times

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
