Design & Technology Teacher - Tonbridge

Location: Tonbridge, Kent

Term Time Teachers is working closely with a high-performing secondary school in Tonbridge to recruit a talented and motivated Design & Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic DT practitioner looking for a fresh challenge in a well-supported and well-resourced environment.

The Role

  • Teaching Design & Technology across KS3-KS4, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience
  • Specialisms welcomed in Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, CAD/CAM
  • Deliver creative, hands-on lessons that promote problem-solving, innovation and practical skill development
  • Collaborate with a supportive DT department on curriculum planning and new initiatives
  • Option to support extra-curricular clubs and projects

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching DT in a UK secondary school
  • Strong workshop knowledge and/or CAD ability (e.g., Autodesk, SolidWorks)
  • Excellent behaviour management and classroom engagement skills
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching
