Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all students in KS1 or Lower KS2.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, preparing reports and participating in parent meetings.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and the well-being of each child.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Participate in and organise school activities, events, and outings that enrich the educational experience of the children.
  • Implement and adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Classroom Teacher in KS1 or Lower KS2.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and current teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child.
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children.
