This dynamic, hugely successful organisation are looking for a Screen Printer to join their busy signage team and to show off their artistic flair.  This is a friendly organisation who are recognised for their professionalism in the industry.

The main focus of the role will be screen printing, though there will be some involvement in all aspects of sign manufacturing and production. Along with the graphics team, you will also help to produce high-quality signage and graphics for countrywide blue chip clients.

The role is primarily based in the work shop, which is within a great building however there may be occasional travel to customer locations and also the opportunity to work onsite with clients on projects.

The role requires strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, an artistic flair and the ability to work as part of a small but highly skilled signage team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up screens, inks, and substrates for printing.
  • Operate and maintain manual and/or semi-automatic screen printing equipment.
  • Mix and match inks to achieve accurate colours and finishes.
  • Ensure alignment, registration, and print quality meet design requirements.
  • Handle various substrates such as vinyl, acrylic, metal, corflute, and other signage materials.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Clean, reclaim, and maintain screens and related equipment.
  • Keep work area organised, safe, and compliant with company procedures.
  • Assist with other production tasks (e.g., vinyl cutting, finishing, mounting) as needed.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure all works are completed as planned
  • Ensuring all plant, tools and equipment are used in the appropriate way and maintained to a high standard
  • Assist the factory with any works requiring assistance
  • Driving the van and maintaining high driving standards in accordance with our FORS and ISO accreditations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in screen printing, preferably within the signage or graphics industry.
  • Strong understanding of inks, mesh counts, squeegees, curing, and colour matching.
  • Familiarity with various signage materials and printing techniques.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (RIP software or print management software experience advantageous).
  • Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and operating machinery throughout the shift.
  • Excellent work ethic and be willing to work overtime as required
  • Ensuring that Health, Safety and Quality standards are maintained

Desirable:

  • Experience with large-format digital printing or other signage production methods.
  • Full driving licence to attend customer sites.
  • CSCS card or industry-relevant training/certifications.
  • Signage industry experience (formal qualifications beneficial).

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 however, these hours can be flexible.  You may also need to occasionally work overtime if there are client deadlines.
