SEND Primary School Teacher (Supply)

We are seeking qualified SEND Primary School Teachers for supply roles available across Kent and Medway. Many of the schools we work with, and support have a need for teachers with experience of working with children with EHCPs.  Needs can very from complex to SEMH to ASD and non-verbal.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and educational lessons to primary school students across various schools.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs and interests of different classes, including those with high SEN intake.
  • Maintain classroom control and discipline.
  • Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for standardised tests where applicable.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school environment.
  • Utilise a flexible schedule to work the days that suit you best, maintaining a work-life balance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching style based on the audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to professional development.
  • Experience with SEN students is highly beneficial.
