Job Title: Housekeeper

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients – a unique wildlife conservation centre located in a stunning and remote area near Tongue, on the north coast of Scotland. The centre offers guests a memorable experience in beautifully maintained cabins and lodges, nestled within unspoiled natural surroundings.
As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable stay. You will take pride in maintaining high standards across all accommodation and communal areas, contributing to the overall visitor experience and the centre’s commitment to quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest cabins, lodges, and communal areas to a high standard
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure bathrooms and kitchens are spotless
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to maintain consistency
- Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and stock levels
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Provide a warm and friendly presence when guests are on-site
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hospitality or similar preferred)
- High attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- A driving licence and own transport would be advantageous due to the rural location, but it is not essential
