The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant / TA for a long term role providing intervention support for some of the schools pupils who need it most. If you have experience working with children to enhance their literacy and numeracy this would be the ideal role for you. Also if you have an understanding of programs such as Read, Write Inc and Wellcomm this would be looked upon favourably.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification Or 6 months experience with children in an educational establishment
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to remain clam in stressful situations
Experience in working one to one with additional learning needs
