Job Title: Catering Assistant

Location: Tonypandy

Pay Rate: 12.70 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm (30 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary, 3-4 months

The Role

Manpower is recruiting a Catering Assistant on behalf of our public sector client's busy catering team. This is a varied role where you will work across different areas of the catering service, including the kitchen, coffee shop, restaurant/canteen and wards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
• Providing excellent customer service in the coffee shop and canteen areas
• Delivering meals to wards and ensuring dietary requirements are met
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all catering areas
• Following food safety procedures and health & safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate. Manpower can support you in you obtaining this.
• Previous catering or hospitality experience is essential
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Flexible and adaptable to work across different catering functions

Additional Information:

• Job offers are subject to a satisfactory Standard DBS check and references. Manpower pays for the cost of a DBS check.
• Candidates must be available to start within one week
