The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-onHotel Managerto take charge of the day-to-day running of the hotel. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead by example and inspire a team of department heads to deliver impeccable service across all areas.
This is a highly operational role that requires a proactive, guest-focused individual who thrives on the floor and is committed to maintaining the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments, including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and spa.
- Drive a culture of proactive sales throughout the business, ensuring teams engage with financial targets and understand how their department impacts this
- Lead and support department heads to ensure consistently high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Be visible and involved in all areas of the hotel, leading from the front and setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director on strategy, planning, and performance management.
- Drive a culture of excellence, team development, and continuous improvement.
About You:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager in a luxury or boutique hotel environment.
- A hands-on leader with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, service standards, and hospitality best practices.
- A calm, solutions-focused mindset with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
