Broad Purpose of Job

Carrying out audit and accounting assignments.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertakes audit assignments, from planning through to completion, for review by the firm’s Audit Manager;
  • Manages the process of preparing accounts, and corporation tax computations, including working on consolidated accounts;
  • Assists the Director and Audit Manager with quality control aspects of auditing and accounting;
  • Oversees the work of audit juniors, and assists with their training in relation to audit;
  • Ensures all deadlines are met and manages workload accordingly to prioritise any urgent tasks;
  • Liaises directly with clients to ensure we have all information to carry out the audit, and to address any queries or questions that come to light;
  • Providing support to the accounts team from time to time with the preparation of statutory accounts, Corporation Tax returns, and personal tax returns;
  • Any other reasonable task required from time to time.
