Food and Beverage Manager Events Bars Sporting Venue

Are you ready to lead food & beverage operations at one of the UK’s most exciting live event destinations? We are searching for a passionate and experienced manager to take ownership of our concessions business, ensuring every visitor enjoys first-class food, drink, and service during major events.

Our venue is entering a period of strong growth, with new projects, high-profile events, and innovative hospitality concepts being introduced. We want someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments to drive standards, develop partner relationships, and deliver a profitable, customer-focused operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee all aspects of concessions food & beverage, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency across multiple outlets.
  • Lead on product development and service innovation to keep our offer fresh and competitive.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with third-party operators, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deliver live operational support during large-scale events, managing last-minute changes with confidence.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and profit & loss management.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, health & safety, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Ensure catering assets, equipment, and resources are effectively managed and audited.

Team Leadership

  • Motivate, guide, and support a diverse team across front and back of house.
  • Plan staffing levels in line with event requirements and budgets.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance reviews to develop the team.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach during busy periods.
  • Ensure concession areas are always presented to brand and operational standards.

Performance Expectations

  • Deliver against agreed KPIs, service standards, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Maximise sales opportunities through smart pricing and product mix.
  • Maintain robust business systems and ensure all processes are consistently followed.
  • Act as Duty Manager when required, taking responsibility for operational delivery.
  • Provide proactive solutions to challenges and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing large-scale food & beverage operations in stadia, arenas, festivals, or outdoor events.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, costs, and forecasts.
  • Excellent working knowledge of health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Skilled at building relationships with partners, suppliers, and teams.
  • A clear, confident communicator with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Personal Licence holder (preferred).
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and COSHH.
