About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Consultant to join our energetic and growing team at hr inspire, a vibrant and successful HR Consultancy based in Tring!

The primary purpose of the role of HR Consultant is to deliver a professional, commercially focused HR consultancy and HR outsource support service to a portfolio of SME customers. To be the expert in Employee Relations matters and to undertake and manage ad-hoc consultancy projects for large corporate customers, including recruitment, re-organisations, transformation programmes and TUPE projects as required.

If you are someone with extensive and comprehensive change/employee relations/employment law experience, Level 7 CIPD qualified, and who can "hit the floor running" we'd love to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement HR processes, policies and procedures and devise innovative and proactive business led HR Solutions to all people management challenges that customers face
  • Effective management and resolution of employee relations issues including individual cases and organisational wide changes and restructures
  • Supporting Business Leaders in delivering their people strategy within professional environments
  • Ensure strong influencing of stakeholders and HR team through matrix management to enable successful delivery of projects and key initiatives
  • Ability to apply analytical, practical and pragmatic thinking, manage all associated legal and commercial risks
  • Tenacious and resilient in approach
  • Provide strong governance and project management
  • Lead teams through a period of significant organisational change and building effective stakeholder relationships
  • End to end management of large-scale change programmes
  • Outsourcing, Insourcing and TUPE

About you:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role (e.g. Senior HR Advisor/Consultant) level
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified
  • Comprehensive change/employee relations/employment law experience
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to deliver successfully with little or no supervision
  • Resilience and high levels of self-awareness
  • Adaptable and flexible to work within dynamic and challenging business environment
  • Excellent written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to optimise performance of self and others in a diverse, fluid and changing environment
  • Ability to provide solutions to problems
  • Strong team working skills
