Job Title: Supply SEN Teaching Assistant
Phase: Primary Schools, EYFS, KS1, KS2
Location: Tring, Dacorum, Hertfordshire
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Academics are seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing vital support to primary schools in Tring and the surrounding area.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils engage and achieve.
- Adapt approaches to suit the needs of individual children.
We are currently looking for individuals who are available for daily supply cover and short-term assignments across local schools.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience working with children with SEN/mental health needs, or a genuine interest in developing this experience.
- A positive, patient, and supportive attitude.
- A desire to make a real difference to children's education.
Pay: 90 to 100 per day (depending on experience).
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants, graduates with an interest in psychology/mental health, or anyone passionate about supporting children with SEN.
