MS587 - HGV Class 1 Driver Salary: £42,000 per annumLocation: TruroOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicles for nationwide deliveries and collections
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance needs
  • Ensure secure loading, unloading, and safe transportation of goods
  • Adhere to all DVSA regulations, tachograph laws, and working time directive
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork, and logbooks
  • Plan routes efficiently and adapt to traffic or road conditions

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Have previous HGV Class 1 experience
  • Be dynamic and have a professional approach
  • Demonstrate a commitment to developing you own knowledge and abilities
