?? About the Role:
You will play a role in supporting science for students with a range of special educational needs. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help prepare and maintain equipment and materials for engaging and safe science lessons across all key stages.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and setting up equipment for practical science lessons
- Supporting classroom demonstrations and activities
- Maintaining lab cleanliness and safety in line with health and safety guidelines
- Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
- Assisting in adapting experiments to suit individual learning needs
- Supporting staff and students during practical sessions as needed
?? About You:
- Previous experience in a science technician or lab support role is desirable
- An understanding of or willingness to learn about working in a SEN environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive and flexible attitude
- Science-related qualifications or relevant experience preferred
