Hospitality End Point Assessor – South East EnglandFreelance / Flexible Working / Field-BasedWe’re looking for experienced and approachable Hospitality professionals across the South East of England to join our growing network of End Point Assessors. This includes areas such as Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, and surrounding regions.This is a great opportunity for industry experts who are ready to take the next step in their careers — using their knowledge to support and assess the next generation of hospitality professionals.About the RoleAs an End Point Assessor, you’ll play a vital role in the final stages of an apprentice’s journey. You’ll be responsible for conducting fair, independent, and consistent assessments in line with apprenticeship standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, carrying out, and reporting on End Point Assessments for hospitality apprentices.
  • Making independent grading decisions based on the apprenticeship standard criteria.
  • Communicating effectively with apprentices and their employers to ensure a smooth assessment process.
  • Maintaining sector knowledge and keeping up with changes in standards or practices.
  • Managing your own workload and administration, with support from a wider team.

  • Strong background in front-of-house hospitality, including reception, housekeeping, conferences and events, or front office.
  • Supervisory or management-level experience within hospitality (Level 3 or above).
  • A recognised Assessor qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A passion for hospitality and talent development.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Confidence using basic IT systems (training will be provided for EPA-specific platforms).
