Then look no further…Waste / Street Cleansing SupervisorSalary - £33,187 - £39,044Hours - 40 hours per week, typically 7am to 3pm (flexibility required)Location - Tunbridge Wells, TN2 3EEAs a Waste / Street Cleansing Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in the co-ordination and delivery of frontline environmental services in Tunbridge Wells. You’ll lead waste collection, street cleansing and recycling operations, ensuring a safe, efficient and compliant service that meets contractual obligations and supports environmental goals.This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week.Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 25 days’ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays- Pension scheme- On-the-job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme, Gymflex membership, holiday purchase and more (Where applicable)- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing PlatformWhat will you be doing?- Supervising and co-ordinating waste and street cleansing operations across both boroughs- Supporting a team of operatives to deliver an efficient and professional service- Monitoring health, safety, quality and performance standards across sites- Ensuring compliance with all environmental and health & safety legislation- Leading investigations and disciplinary procedures as required- Conducting staff training, licence checks, safety briefings and equipment inductions- Liaising with local councils, stakeholders and contractors- Promoting resource efficiency, recycling and continuous improvement- Using systems such as Veocheck, CMS, and Microsoft Office for operational reporting and audits- Standing in for the Service Delivery Manager when requiredWhat are we looking for?- Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally in waste, logistics or environmental services- Strong people management and leadership skills- A proactive, safety-conscious and customer-focused approach- Excellent organisational and communication abilities- Flexibility and the willingness to travel between sites- Strong IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and operational software- A full UK driving licence (HGV/CPC an advantage)About UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the UK’s leading waste and resource management companies.
