- Deliver informed guidance on planning legislation, construction practicality, and economic/environmental impacts.
- Liaise directly with clients, architectural staff, local planning bodies, and outside consultants.
- Take the reins on planning projects, overseeing applications and preparing comprehensive documentation.
- Champion and develop the planning function, laying the groundwork for a successful department.
- Inject your expertise and enthusiasm into shaping the business's planning vision.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience post-qualification in a planning consultancy role (not suited to recent graduates).
- Strong communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal abilities.
- Comfortable working independently and managing full project lifecycles.
- Driven to advance the planning arm and be the in-house authority.
- Should reside within a 45-minute commute of Tunbridge Wells.
- Preferably holds MRICS or RTPI credentials.
