Exam Invigilator - Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Term Time Teachers are working with several secondary schools that are seeking exam invigilators for their winter mock exams. You do not need experience as an exam invigilator to apply to this position as we can provide training / resources, however some experience in the education sector or a genuine interest to work in it.
Exam invigilator positions are seasonal, temporary work. You will be offered work within the winter mock exam periods and the summer exam periods as an exam invigilator; however we can also offer support staff positions in schools on a long term or supply basis for the rest of the academic year.
Exam Invigilators will have the following responsibilities;
- Set up the exam hall (chairs, desks, other equipment)
- Monitor the exam hall whilst students sit the exams
- Hand out and collect exam papers.
- Reading or scribing (optional).
As mentioned above, there is no specific exam invigilator experience required, however we are looking for people with the following qualities;
- Excellent timekeeping skills
- A proactive attitude and be prepared to follow instructions.
- Be happy with moving objects and comfortable standing/walking for a long period of time.
