Up to £32,000 – Near Tunbridge WellsA leading organisation is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join its expanding finance team. This opportunity offers a dynamic, fast-paced working environment with genuine opportunities for progression and training support.  The RoleReporting directly to the Finance Controller, the Finance Assistant will play a pivotal role in day-to-day finance operations. Responsibilities include:
  • Handling inbound calls from clients and suppliers
  • Managing both sales and purchase ledgers
  • Credit control and invoice management
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliations
  • Processing staff expenses, credit card transactions, and purchase orders
  • Supporting with supplier statements and communications
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance team
What They're Looking ForThis role would suit someone with a solid foundation in accounts and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will bring:
  • 1–3 years’ finance or practice-based experience
  • Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Proven experience with bank reconciliations and invoice processing
  • Familiarity with Business Central and strong Excel skills (formulas essential)
  • Initiative, good communication, and a collaborative spirit
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume finance environment
