We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee / Data Entry Clerk to join our client's dynamic Finance team.

Job Description:This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is starting their career in finance or accounting. As a Finance Trainee / Data Entry Clerk, you will support the finance team with essential administrative and data-related tasks while gaining valuable industry experience and exposure to a range of finance functions by a Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entering and updating financial data in company systems with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Assisting in processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.

  • Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.

  • Reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

  • Filing and organising financial records.

  • Communicating with internal departments and external vendors where necessary.

  • Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • A strong interest in finance, accounting, or business administration.

  • Basic understanding of financial principles is a plus.

  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Studying towards (or recently completed) a degree/diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in data entry or a finance-related role is advantageous but not essential.
