Your role

At term time teachers we are seeking an engaging and proficient Mathematics Teacher as part of our agency team to teach within a highly successful and rewarding mathematics department within Tunbridge Wells. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to children's mathematical academic progress.

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and mark work timely, producing feedback to the children to support their academic progress.
  • Teach the mathematics curriculum to secondary school pupils, ideally up to Key stage 5
  • Encourage curiosity, analytic thinking and problem solving within mathematical activities.
  • Monitor children's development and assess their ongoing progress

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
