An inclusive and supportive SEN school in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join their team as soon as possible.

?? About the Role:

You will play a role in supporting science for students with a range of special educational needs. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll help prepare and maintain equipment and materials for engaging and safe science lessons across all key stages.

? Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and setting up equipment for practical science lessons
  • Supporting classroom demonstrations and activities
  • Maintaining lab cleanliness and safety in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
  • Assisting in adapting experiments to suit individual learning needs
  • Supporting staff and students during practical sessions as needed

  • Previous experience in a science technician or lab support role is desirable
  • An understanding of or willingness to learn about working in a SEN environment
