Are you confident leading a classroom and passionate about inspiring young minds, even without Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? We're currently recruiting Unqualified Teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support learning across KS3 and KS4 in a range of secondary schools throughout Tunstall.

About the Role:

As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll take the lead in delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students stay focused and engaged in their learning. While you won't be expected to plan or assess, your role is crucial in maintaining a productive learning environment and supporting student progress.

You'll work closely with school staff and receive ongoing support and guidance from our experienced agency team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Manage behaviour and uphold school policies in the classroom
  • Support students with their learning and answer questions as needed
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Report back on student engagement, behaviour, and progress
  • Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders as necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people (e.g., in education, coaching, mentoring, or youth work)
