As a Lift Service/Callout Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and emergency response for a portfolio of lift equipment. You'll work independently across various sites, delivering high-quality service in accordance with British & European Standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Planned and reactive maintenance of lift equipment

Responding to emergency breakdowns and carrying out repairs

Conducting asset verification and site surveys

Installing replacement and additional components
-
Participating in the on-call rota (optional)

Mentoring apprentices or assistants where required

Maintaining professional conduct and strong client communication

Essential:

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering

Minimum 2 years of lift industry experience

Strong understanding of current British Standards

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:

Experience in social housing environments

Asbestos awareness certification
