Due to our continued growth, my client are proactively seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to become a vital part of an expanding team covering the London area. The ideal candidate will be based no more than 1 hour from the West London area and within London, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire or Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and Maintenance Expert: Responsible for the service and maintenance of air conditioning systems, including DX splits, VRFs, and VRVs.

Collaborative Problem Solver: Liaise with the office team to diagnose faults and implement remedial steps.

On-Call: Engineers are expected to cover an out-of-hours on-call service on a rota basis, with all overtime paid, including door-to-door travel.

Position Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 and/or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • NICEIC 18th Edition

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience

Licensing:

  • Full Driving Licence

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise diplomacy, tact, sensitivity, and control when managing difficult or vulnerable clients/consumers

Work Style:

  • Demonstrates a proactive, driven, and committed approach to work
  • Ability to analyse queries, identify problems, and develop solutions
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Capable of working accurately under pressure and meeting time targets
