This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a Science Teacher post at a secondary school in Richmond. They're an oversubscribed, mixed, multi-cultural high school in South West London. They have an excellent, supportive Science department with a tremendous record of both exam success and of developing students and staff. Uptake of science at Post 16 is very strong and many students go on to pursue careers in scientific fields.

The school are keen to meet qualified teachers who can teach KS3-KS4 science and flexible with subject specialism. If you can deliver dynamic and engaging lessons in science, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be joining a tight-knit team, working towards raising student attainment through outstanding teaching. You'll also receive ongoing support and training from the school. The successful applicant will have experience teaching science across KS3-KS4.Skills and experience required

  • A qualified teacher with QTS or ECT
  • Confident teaching science at KS3-KS4
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
