Teaching Assistant – SEND (Primary & Secondary)
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school, working with both Primary and Secondary pupils with a range of additional needs.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with complex learning needs, communication difficulties, and sensory processing challenges. Your role will involve:
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to pupils across different age groups.
- Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Must have DBS on the update service
- Supporting pupils with personal care, social development, and emotional well-being.
- Helping to create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to meet each pupil’s individual needs.
