Position: MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)
Location: Secondary School – Just Outside Basingstoke
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential for Permanent Placement)
Pay Range: £160 - £240 per day (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Overview:
An excellent secondary school located just outside Basingstoke is seeking a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position involves teaching both French and Spanish to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students with a passion for languages, encourage cultural curiosity, and support academic progress in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
• Collaborate with the MFL department and contribute to enrichment opportunities such as language clubs, trips, or themed events.

Requirements:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students.
