Job Title: Production / Manufacturing Operatives
Location: Uckfield Area
Hourly Rate: 11.44 per hour (rising to 12.21 per hour in April 2025)
Hours: Monday - Thursday (7:45am - 4:15pm) and Fridays (7:45am - 3:15pm)
Position: Full-Time, Ongoing Temporary Contract (with the possibility of permanent)
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team in the Uckfield area? We are seeking multiple motivated and reliable individuals to join our client's production team as Production Manufacturing Operatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bench assembly by carefully fitting and securing components.
- Assemble parts of various shapes and sizes with precision.
- Pick and pack a range of products to meet order requirements.
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to maintain workflow.
- Ensure high-quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with general production line duties, such as organising materials and supporting team members as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic
