Position: Supply Primary Teacher
Location: Uckfield
Pay: £120 - £180 per day
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30
Contract Type: Day to Day, Short-Term, and Long-Term Supply
Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of Primary and Secondary schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex. We are currently looking to recruit Primary Teacher, and will happily accept applications from NQTs.
About the Role: Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher? We are seeking a dedicated Supply Primary Teacher to join our team and support schools across Uckfield. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work in a variety of school environments while contributing to the development of students.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher or NQT, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across different settings. This position offers day-to-day supply, as well as short- and long-term supply, with the potential for full-time opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons across various primary year groups (EYFS, KS1 and KS2).
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments, following the school’s curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, pupils, and parents when necessary.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working within primary schools (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
