Our client is an established manufacturer of electromechanical test and measurement equipment, and devices used in construction, surveys, oil and gas applications.

Based near Haywards Heath, they are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team and maintain a smooth, efficient, profitable production floor.

Your roles will be
To supervise and manage a team of production and assembly operatives.
Plan production schedules, checking resources, materials, tools etc required to complete the job.
Work with other depts internally including sales, stores etc to meet expectations and adapt to changes if or as they arise.
Monitor and report on KPI as required.
Support new practices or changes to your department.
Have full awareness of COSHH and HSE records, reporting and procedures including ISO9001
Support, train and develop staff, recruit new staff and provide ongoing leadership and mentorship.
Champion continuous improvement processes and lean manufacturing practices
Recognise and resolve problems using route cause analysis knowledge.

You will be
An experienced supervisor, manager or team leader within a manufacturing or production environment.
Have proven background in electromechanical or electrical equipment/systems manufacturing.
Understand and have worked with COSHH, HSE, ERP and Lean systems as a matter of course.
