We are currently recruiting for a Rental Equipment Delivery Driver on behalf of a leading healthcare company, to provide temporary cover for long-term sickness (approximately 3 weeks). This role is based at their modern depot in Ulverston, Cumbria, with travel across the region.
Location: Ulverston, Cumbria
Salary: 12.21 per hour / Weekly Pay!
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
About the Role:
As a Rental Equipment Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring essential medical equipment reaches hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Cumbria area.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and install basic medical devices to hospitals and healthcare settings (full training provided)
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals during installation and demonstration of equipment
Drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle, using your knowledge of the local area for efficient route planning
Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment both on-site and at the depot (training provided)
What We're Looking For:
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Comfortable driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle
Good communication skills
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
A proactive and professional approach to work
