Position: Electronics Technician
Location: Swarthmoor, Lake District
Salary: Up to 36,000 DOE
KO2's client, based in the heart of the Lake District, is a growing technology company that designs and develops wireless monitoring solutions used by the National Grid and other leading utilities. They are looking for an Electronics Technician to join their close-knit, highly skilled engineering team at their modern Swarthmoor site.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Technician who enjoys hands-on work with PCB assemblies, test jigs, and fault finding down to component level. You'll work on the interface between R&D and production-supporting new product introduction, maintaining and improving test processes, and helping keep production running smoothly.

The role:
- Functional testing of finished products and PCB assemblies
- Fault finding and repair to component level using oscilloscopes, multimeters and soldering tools
- Supporting production and assisting with technical issues during build
- Maintaining and developing simple test jigs and procedures
- Liaising with R&D to implement process improvements
The person:
- HNC/HND or degree in Electronics or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong practical electronics skills - soldering, testing, and fault finding
- Able to interpret circuit diagrams and understand PCB layout
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work well within a small team
- Comfortable working onsite in Swarthmoor
This is a permanent, onsite role offering up to 36,000, depending on experience.
