Robotics Engineer Bedfordshire £40,000–£55,000 Benefits

An established and growing business specialising in robot system integration, and turnkey automation solutions is seeking a Robotics Engineer to join their business as they enter a sustained period of growth.

Based in Bedfordshire, this role offers the chance to work on a wide range of industrial automation projects, supporting clients across the UK and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robotic automation solutions using ABB robots.

  • Program and simulate robotic systems 

  • Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and support of robotic cells

  • Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, sensors, and other automation equipment

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues

  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless integration

  • Provide technical documentation, client support, and training

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with industrial robots

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

  • Willingness to travel for site work
