This brand-new Social Media Manager role is your opportunity to lead and energise Travel Counsellors' social media strategy and execution - owning decisions, making a real impact, and using your expertise to grow audiences, boost engagement, and deliver results that matter.

Working with the wider marketing team, you will define how we use social media to improve our brand reach, engagement and sentiment, increase audience bases, generate leads, and support our commercial partnerships.



Responsibilities Overview

This Social Media Manager role involves varied responsibilities, including:

  • Create a social media strategy to support the achievement of business objectives, with a clear platform and content strategy and associated KPIs for each of our core audiences (leisure customers, corporate travel buyers, potential new TCs, and colleagues).
  • Support the TC Engagement team to empower and support Travel Counsellors in optimising their own social media presence through education, best practice sharing, and the creation of easily customisable assets and campaigns.
  • Develop and implement scalable frameworks for franchisees to collaborate on social campaigns, share UGC, and amplify content across their own channels.
  • Support the evolution of our brand narrative.
  • Define and drive social media KPIs.
  • Continuously test and optimise content, ads, and campaigns based on data insights.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on social media experience, with a strong track record in executing high-performing strategies aligned with brand and business goals
  • Proven ability to manage both B2B and B2C social media, ideally within a premium lifestyle, leisure, or customer-focused brand
  • Skilled in content strategy, creation, and storytelling to drive engagement and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms
  • Experienced in audience growth, community engagement, and leveraging user-generated content for authenticity and brand trust
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in tracking KPIs, measuring ROI, A/B testing, and optimising campaigns for performance
  • Proficient in managing paid social budgets and platforms, such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools
  • In-depth knowledge of social platform algorithms, SEO relevance, and emerging trends, with a proactive approach to adapting strategy
