Stores Operator Glascoed 37 hours per week Inside IR35 I am looking for a Stores Operator with a strong manufacturing stores/warehouse background to join our client, BAE Systems, at their Glascoed site. The role is focused on supporting production demands by ensuring goods are accurately stored, picked, and delivered on time, while adhering to safety standards and legal compliance. Role Responsibilities • Working a 3-shift pattern (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 – weekly rotation). • Identifying, picking, and transporting goods from various storage locations to production areas and returning goods to stores, completing all relevant SAP transactions. • Loading and unloading goods from a variety of vehicles (e.g. vans, lorries, containers). • Checking incoming materials against paperwork prior to booking into SAP and ensuring correct legal handling. • Identifying defects or errors in materials or paperwork and raising the appropriate documentation. • Allocating storage locations and preparing identification labels for incoming materials. • Ensuring all issued material is properly identified with the correct inspection status. Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification Requirements Essential • Previous experience in a manufacturing stores/warehouse role. • Forklift truck licence. • Prepared to drive site Heavy Goods Vehicles (training provided if required). • Good computer literacy and understanding of Microsoft packages. • Able to use and understand SAP (training provided). Desirable • Experience working in hazardous areas with knowledge of licensing limits. Pay rates Three-Shift (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 22:00-06:00 – weekly rotation) – £21.03/hr PAYE Shift pattern is set by the client. To apply, you must be available for all shifts.
