Description

As a Procurement Category and Contracts Manager you will;

  • Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies for procurement across multiple categories. You will be managing a spent of 30-40millon
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms and conditions.
  • Spend Analysis: Monitor and analyse spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with budgetary constraint
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and compliance issues.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to senior management.
  • You will also manage a small marketing category

Profile

A successful Procurement Category Manager/ Contracts Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement contract management with a large supplier base
  • You must have knowledge of procurement's products and services, market trends, and supplier landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
