Tripod Partners are looking for a Finance Management Systems Accountant to support the Financial Systems Team with Oracle Cloud system maintenance and enhancements. The role is pivotal in aligning financial systems with organisational structures and delivering key improvements across budgeting, reporting, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the maintenance and development of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM systems.

Set up new users and maintain segment codes and master data in line with council policies.

Ensure hierarchies and reporting structures reflect current management and budget holder arrangements.

Reconcile staffing establishment within financial systems.
-
Monitor system interfaces and ensure appropriate setup for AP, AR, P2P users.

Produce statistical data and support audit investigations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial systems, including GL, Payroll, Income, and Creditor systems.

Provide advice to finance staff and assist in troubleshooting system queries.
Additional Responsibilities (POA Level):

Take personal responsibility for system roll-forwards, sub-ledger and GL close down.

Lead on specific financial models and budgeting processes.

Represent the Financial Systems Team internally and externally.

Contribute to testing and assessment of new system upgrades and enhancements.
Pay Rate: 522.41 per day
Location: Hillingdon, London
Contract: 3 months
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Requirements:

Local authority finance experience.

Proficiency in Oracle Cloud or similar large-scale financial systems.

Strong understanding of general ledger structures and financial reporting.

Advanced Excel and analytical skills.

Experience managing system users, hierarchies, and permissions.

AAT qualified or first year of CCAB qualification (or equivalent experience).

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
