We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills who is looking to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Description
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
- Support with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as required
Profile
- AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available to start at short notice
