CAD Engineer - Denham, Middlesex

Salary: 38-42k


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team at their site in Denham, Middlesex. You'll play a vital role in delivering detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and product definition information (PDI) for a range of innovative aerospace products.

You'll support the full design process, from concept to production, working with a variety of materials and components including mechanical, electrical, textile, and pyrotechnic systems. Your work will involve tolerance and mass analysis, BOM generation, and change management-delivering clear, precise, and manufacturable engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate 3D CAD models and engineering drawings

  • Support tolerance/clearance and mass analysis

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to finalise design definition

  • Create and maintain product manufacturing information (PMI)

  • Plan and manage workload effectively across diverse technologies

About You
You're an experienced CAD Engineer who's passionate about accuracy, design integrity, and quality engineering. You bring strong technical expertise, solid communication skills, and the ability to contribute to life-critical projects.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software

  • Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes

  • Basic engineering calculations for part sizing

  • Experience with tolerance and clearance analysis

  • Degree in Engineering or relevant Science subject, or HND with industry experience
