A well-established UK automation specialist at the forefront of industrial automation is looking to recruit a Controls & Electrical Design Engineer. You will support the design and delivery of advanced inspection and automation systems used by blue-chip manufacturers worldwide.

• 50,000-60,000 DOE

• Design electrical panels and control systems using AutoCAD Electrical

• Produce schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation

• PLC and HMI programming and system integration for industrial automation machinery

• Support system commissioning and testing, both in-house and at customer sites

• Work closely with mechanical, controls, and applications engineering teams

• Assist with electrical build, fault-finding, and problem-solving during manufacture

• 3+ years' experience in electrical design within industrial automation

• Strong AutoCAD Electrical experience

• PLC programming knowledge. Siemens and/or Allen Bradley

• Good understanding of machinery safety and industrial control systems

• Logical, organised, and able to work to project deadlines

• Electrical Engineering qualification. Degree desirable

• Knowledge of robotics or machine vision advantageous
