Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is currently looking for a Medical Science Liaison to join their team in Uxbridge on a full time, 6-month temporary basis (35 hours per week).

As an Medical Science Liaison, you will act as the scientific expert and key medical contact within the psychiatry therapeutic area. You'll build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals, academic researchers and clinical stakeholders, providing deep scientific insight and supporting the dissemination of clinical data to drive informed decisions that ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary scientific expert in psychiatry and mental health, representing the company across your region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinical investigators and mental health professionals
  • Provide high-quality scientific and clinical support to medical and commercial teams
  • Deliver scientific presentations and facilitate discussions around new research, products, and treatment pathways.
  • Support investigator-initiated trials and ensure the highest standards of medical governance and compliance

Requirements

  • Qualified with an MBBS, PhD or MPharm (or equivalent scientific/medical degree)
  • Strong understanding of psychiatry, neuroscience or mental health therapy areas.
  • Proven experience as an MSL or in a relevant clinical, academic, or medical affairs role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex science into clear, meaningful insights.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and motivated by scientific excellence and patient impact.
