Business Development Manager

South East Dental / Medical Sales

£55k DOE + Bonus + Car or Allowance

A leading dental manufacturer is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities across the South East. This role focuses on engaging with prospective clients, nurturing leads, and supporting the handover to the sales team for long-term account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities via outbound calls, digital outreach, and social selling.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Generate quotes and close sales where possible or set up qualified meetings for the field sales team.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure seamless handover of leads.
  • Support team development through coaching, onboarding, and mentoring.
  • Assist with temporary territory coverage as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in the dental or healthcare sector.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and digital outreach skills.
  • Confident using CRM, quoting tools, and other digital platforms.
