Description
Finance and Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Analysis and interpretation of financial data to support decision making
- Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and SQL
- Tracking of financial KPIs and suggestion of improvements
- Collaboration with accounting team to achieve financial objectives
- Gather, validate, and integrate data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
- Investigate data discrepancies, identify issues early, and work constructively with partners to resolve them
Profile
A successful Finance and Data Analyst should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI
- Proficient in SQL for data transformation, cleansing, and integration
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
