Location: Pield Heath House School

Reporting to: Principal

Our client is seeking a highly organised and professional candidateto lead and manage HR, data, administration, and governance processes within the school.

This is a key role supporting the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to ensure legal compliance, policy implementation, and effective operational systems.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Provide HR advice and support to staff and senior leaders.

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction, and compliance with safer recruitment requirements.

  • Maintain accurate HR records, monitor staff attendance, and support absence management.

  • Coordinate performance management and CPD tracking using BlueSky.

  • Ensure compliance with employment law and GDPR.

Data & Compliance

  • Act as the schools Data Protection Officer ensuring data security and compliance with GDPR.

  • Lead on statutory data returns (e.g., School Census).

  • Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) and all personnel documentation.

Administration & Governance

  • Manage policy updates and diary reviews for statutory compliance.

  • Organise key meetings and liaise with external stakeholders (e.g., Ofsted, DfE, Diocese).

  • Support formal HR processes including grievance, disciplinary, and capability cases.

Person Specification

Essential

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or above).

  • HR qualification (CIPD Level 3 or equivalent).

  • Experience in HR administration in an educational setting.

  • Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong team player with a proactive and calm approach.

Desirable

  • Experience with SIMS or Arbor.

  • Safer Recruitment training.

  • Familiarity with BlueSky or similar CPD platforms.
