Deputy Unit Manager -EBD home-41,000+-Local Authority

NonStop Care are working with an Outstanding Ofsted local authority, based in the West of London, who are looking for a Deputy Unit Manager to join their newly established Children's Home. The ideal candidate will have experience working at Deputy or Team Lead level whilst holding NVQ level 3 and will be eager to join and influence a new & exciting service!

Responsibilities -

  • Work closely with the Register Manager to ensure effective management of the home, to contribute strategically to planning, budgeting, and decision-making processes.
  • Responsible for supervising and supporting staff members, this includes recruitment, training, and performance management. Also involved with providing guidance and support for staff members

Requirements;

  • Residential childcare experience
  • Up to date DBS & licence
  • NVQ level 3 or 4
  • Previous experience within a Deputy or Team Leader role in children's residential
